Stunning Places to Visit in Siquijor

Siquijor is one of my favorite places in the Philippines. This laidback island is filled with impressive white sand beaches and cute resorts, and has a smorgasbord of adventures like cliff jumping, riding motorbikes, and chasing waterfalls. This is one of the islands that I prefer to visit again and again. Discovering and exploring amazing spots each time I hit this island is so much fun. The last time I was there, I got to add another items to my list of the best places to visit in the island. Check out below!

JJ’s Backpackers Village
Located in San Juan, I had fun lounging at the clean water and white sand beach in JJ. Grab some beers with friends and hang out at the tiny sand bar that shows up during low tide.

U Story Guesthouse
Still in San Juan, this bohemian resort is only open during the dry season, which is from November to May. I always loved bohemian so imagine my reaction upon arriving at this lovely resort. The lounge is filled with boho stuff from pillows and carpets to dream catchers, sun beds and hammocks. I love everything about U Story Guesthouse. And oh, they have delicious food, too!

Lugnason Waterfalls
We rented motorbikes and sped to Lugnason Falls in San Juan. This is one of the most visited falls in Siquijor next to Cambugahay.

A Random Beach in Maite
On our way home, we saw a narrow alley across Maite Elementary School in San Juan that leads to an empty beach, so we parked our motorbikes and head there. We met some locals and asked them if it’s okay to have a dip and they agreed. Yes to a fee-free empty beach!

LOL! but I also heard that the beaches in Siquijor is amazingly virgin, i mean not too crowded and beautiful. When i say your photos i concluded that Siquijor is totally amazing! i also love Bohemian style. Thanks for the tips.

    1. Hi Ann! Siquijor's vibe is far from what you've heard, it's not scary at all. Visit the island someday and be amazed! :)
